The 5K course is certified and will be marked appropriately with mile signs. From the start/finish location, participants will make a right on the White Pine Trail and run for about 1/2 mile to the turn around. 1 milers go to the turn around and then back to the finish. The 5K participants will then head back to where they came from and eventually run over a bridge that crosses West River Drive. Immediately after the bridge, runners will make a right on a sidewalk. They will follow that sidewalk along West River Drive, along Rogue River Drive and connect back onto the White Pine Trail. The course is all on trails and sidewalks, no roads. There will be a water aid station off the sidewalk just after mile 2. Once back on the trail, it will be a straight shot back to the finish. The race is chip timed and your time starts when you cross the start/finish line.
