Craft Spirits

What is a craft spirit? Different from a mass liquor producer like one of the national brands, a craft spirits producer’s yield every year is less because they focus on quality not quantity. Craft distilleries generally make all of their spirits in house, from the grain to the final product in your glass. The final product coming off the still is more closely monitored for taste and quality and any of the bad spirits [the heads (or first part) and tails (last part)] of the distillation are discarded or used elsewhere. Because the yield for each batch is less, craft spirits usually cost more to produce. But we think the flavor difference is worth it.

We are a grain-to-glass distillery. Our spirits are crafted from scratch in our facility on West River Drive in Comstock Park–grinding the raw grain; mashing the grain with water to create a distiller’s beer; fermenting the beer; then distilling the alcohol and only bottling the very heart of the distillation. Bottles are filled, labeled, and sealed by hand, usually by the distiller. Our ever-growing line of spirits includes vodka, gins, moonshines, rums, brandies, four varieties of whiskey, amaro, our line of Dutch-inspired liqueurs, and our favorite, absinthe verte.

This is just a sampling of all the spirits we produce. For the most up-do-date menu of our selections, visit the Order Online section of our website.
